Hey! I'm Mr. Bittler.

I am currently teaching Social Studies on Team Challenger Point (8 Orange). I absolutely love being a part of the Mountain Ridge MS community. This is my 13th year at MRMS. I also spent 5 years teaching at another school across the district. I graduated from Adams State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History. Since that time, I also have earned my endorsement in Physical Education and Health which I taught for several years.

Aside from teaching, most of my time is devoted to being the Head Boys Wrestling Coach and part time Assistant Girls Flag Football Coach at Mountain Vista HS. I also currently coach both sports at Mountain Ridge. I have also coached 8th grade tackle football, track and college rugby throughout my career. When I am not teaching or coaching wonderful young minds, I spend time with my wife, who is a teacher in LPS, and our daughters, Emerson (7th grade at MRMS) and Hadley (4th grade). I am a huge Broncos fan and love all sports. I also really enjoy the outdoors, hanging with our dog, Barley, and just relaxing at home.
