About Mr. Jacobson

Hello and welcome to Cimarron!

My name is Mr. Jacobson and I will be teaching your social studies and language arts courses for the upcoming school year. I was born and raised in Oxnard, California and spent my early years playing baseball, skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing. I am very passionate about athletics and education, and consider myself very fortunate to take part in the education and growth of young minds. This will be my 6th year in Douglas County School District and along with teaching, I coach 8th grade tackle football. When I'm not teaching I enjoy spending time with my four children and wonderful wife. I enjoy gardening, traveling and playing a little Xbox here and there. Although the year 2020 has been quite chaotic, I believe that we will have a great year here at Cimarron filled with great memories and growth for us all.
