Homework

Please read for 20 minutes every night. Research has proven the best thing for kids to do at home to help them academically is read 20 minutes a night every night. The reading might be with you, a sibling, relative, friend, pet, or stuffy. Thank you for helping your kid by reading with them.

If doing homework besides reading is a struggle or a fight please don't do it. There is no need to get frustrated. I can work with your child the next day, or you can email me to figure it out together.

Please fill out the reading log for September. If your child returns it at the end of the month they will get to pick a pencil out of my reward pencil bag. Every month this will be a reward.
