We will also be using Google Classroom as our virtual classroom this year. I will be posting stuff from class as well as assignments for your at home days to your hours Classroom so you need to make sure that you become very familiar with navigating this resource. PLEASE ask any and all questions you have at any time.

An easy way to find Google Classroom is to use the Google Waffle Menu and look for the chalk board with a person on it.

Parents and Google Classroom

Parents, if you would like to be added to your student's Google Classroom, you will need a Gmail account. Once you have a Gmail account you can let me know and I can add you to the classroom.

Some Google Classroom Tips

One VERY important thing you will want to become familiar with quickly will be how to turn assignments in to Google Classroom. We will be doing A LOT of things online and this procedure is SUPER IMPORTANT. So here is a short video about how to turn things in to Google Classroom. Somethings that he doesn't fully explain uploading a document. He mentions it at the end, but you can upload something from your Google Drive so watch for that. If you pay close attention, once he hits the "Submit" button it changes to "Unsubmit". You can use this if you need to go back and make changes to the assignment. Just don't forget to submit it afterwards. Another thing that this video does not show is that sometimes the "Submit" just says "Mark as Done". You may have an assignment that you just need to mark as done so I know that you did it. If it says "Submit" you know you need to have an assignment attached.
