This is my ninth year at Northridge Elementary School. I have taught math enrichment, special education and am starting my third year as NRE's GT Facilitator. I am a graduate of Arizona State University and have a masters in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M. I am currently a graduate student at University of Northern Colorado - learning never ends!
I have two children whom I love and adore. Both enjoy performing in countless plays and musicals around town. On the weekends I'm usually watching a performance somewhere.
I run a number of extracurricular activities at Northridge. Information on all the clubs can be found within this website. Come on out and get involved!
Welcome! I am the new half time Gifted and Talented facilitator for K-2. I have a background in teaching in the primary grades and in Spanish and ESL programs. I have also spent the last three years working as a consultant teacher at Northridge, where I have done small group reading and math instruction, often with the academically advanced students. I am endorsed as a Reading Specialist.
I have two GT kids of my own that attend Northridge! In my free time, I love spending time with them, my husband, and our two kitties and pups. We love to camp and travel!

Please don't hesitate to reach out! Navigating the GT world can sometimes feel confusing and intimidating, and I am here to help.
