My name is Lindsey Rakovich and I teach first grade at Legacy Point. I am a proud mother of two amazing boys, Carson and Mason. The boys sure do keep me busy! We love the beautiful Colorado weather and everything this area has to offer. We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to return to Colorado where we are close to our family.
From a very young age I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I attended Northern Arizona University for college and went on to get my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. I can’t believe what was once my dream is now my reality. Throughout the years I have taught kindergarten, first, second and third grade. As an educator I hope to instill a love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion for learning with them.

Hello! My name is Jocelyn Eyl (pronounced isle). I live right here in Parker with my high school science teacher husband and our two kids Colby (21) and Kaylee (19). I have been at Legacy Point Elementary for 13 years. I have taught technology, leadership, kindergarten and now first grade. I am extremely passionate about Legacy Point, the great things we do here and the kids that attend. I love, love, love "the littles" and feel especially honored to be able to teach them great things and inspire them to do even greater things!
When I am not teaching, I relish family time, enjoy watching Kaylee play softball, and delight in the great outdoors whenever we get the chance.

Hello! My name is Ellie Hunt, and I’m so excited to be starting another amazing year at Legacy Point! This is my second year at LPE and my third year teaching first grade. I grew up in Parker, Colorado, and graduated from Chaparral High School, so being a teacher in the same community that shaped me is incredibly special. I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Colorado Christian University with a specialization in culturally and linguistically diverse studies. I’m currently working toward my master’s degree in education, focusing on multilingual learning.
I feel truly honored to teach first grade—it's such a fun and rewarding age! Watching students grow, discover new things, and become confident leaders is the absolute best part of my job.
When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new places and cultures—there’s nothing better than exploring something unfamiliar and making new memories along the way!

Hello! My name is Lisa Butler, and I’m thrilled to be part of the first-grade team at Legacy Point Elementary. My teaching journey began many years ago, driven by a passion for helping young minds grow. Along the way, I had the joy of becoming a stay-at-home mother to my two wonderful children, Dylan and Madeline, while also supporting my husband's military career, which took our family on many adventures.
When we settled in the beautiful town of Parker, Colorado, I was excited to join the Legacy Point Elementary family in 2020. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students and teachers across all grade levels, with a primary focus on first, second, and third grades. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for teaching early learners.
Being part of the first-grade team is especially exciting for me because I love the energy and curiosity that first graders bring to the classroom. I am committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where each child can explore, learn, and grow.
In my free time, my family and I enjoy glamping, hiking, paddleboarding, and skiing.
