Hi there! My name is Patrick LaPorta, and I am so excited to be starting my fifth year here at Northeast! As a former student of NE, it is so exciting to be teaching in the same place that my passion for learning started.
Hi there! My name is Patrick LaPorta, and I am so excited to be starting my fifth year here at Northeast! As a former student of NE, it is so exciting to be teaching in the same place that my passion for learning started.
I attended Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, where I graduated with an English/Teacher Education degree in 2015. I received a scholarship to play Men’s Soccer at CMU, and spent most of my 4 years on the soccer field all over the state/country. I bring as much passion into teaching as I do soccer! After graduating, I promptly moved back to the Front Range to start my teaching career.

I have two brothers, Brian (lives in Houston, TX), and Sean (lives in Denver). My parents are still living in the Pinery, and I love spending time with them any chance I can get!

I currently live in Castle Rock with my wife, Macy. We really enjoy hiking and being outdoors all over Colorado, attending concerts, and skiing when outside of the classroom. I am a big supporter of the city of Buffalo, NY, and am a very proud supporter of the Buffalo Bills (this may be the most known fact about me). I can’t wait to start another exciting year of learning and growing with you all at Northeast!
