Meet Your Teacher

Hi!  My name is Mrs. Lazzaro and I am so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher!  We are going to have so much fun learning, laughing and exploring in our classroom! 

I can’t wait to learn all about your family, but for now, let me tell you a little bit about me!  I am a Colorado native and love raising my family here. My husband and I have  two busy kids who keep us on our toes but also make us smile and laugh everyday.  Emily is 16 and will be a junior next year at HRHS and Ethan is 13 and will be an 8th grader at Cresthill Middle School.  We love traveling during the summer and spending time outdoors whenever we can.

This will be my 18th year teaching at Cougar Run and I absolutely LOVE it here!  It truly is a great place to work and learn.

             Favorite Food – I have a wicked sweet tooth!

             Favorite Drink – Anything from Starbucks

             Favorite Animal – My super sweet kitty, Lola

             Favorite Book – One by Kathryn Otoshi and anything by Kristen Hannah

            Favorite Hobby – Taking walks with my family in the summer/Family movie night in the winter!
