Meet Mrs. Jacobson
I am a Colorado native and love this state so much I decided to get my undergraduate and graduate degree here. I attended the University of Colorado Boulder for my undergrad degree and the University of Colorado Denver for my graduate Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology. I recently completed my graduate school program in May 2016. I experienced my practicum at a middle school in Cherry Creek. I served my internship year as a school psychologist intern at a Douglas County elementary school in Lone Tree. Last year I completed my first year at Heritage. Even though I’m relatively new to this career, I am full of passion and ecstatic for the choice I made to spend my days with amazing students and brilliant teachers and specialists. I am excited to work with on this team that has fresh ideas and tons of enthusiasm for the students we work with.
On a personal note, I live with my husband and pug in Highlands Ranch. I love anything and everything that has to do with being outdoors. I go on many hikes in the spring-fall, play golf in the summer, snowboard in the winter, and play on a co-ed volleyball team year round.
