Meet Your Teacher

Hello and welcome to 4th grade! :) I am so excited to have you in my class this year and to get to know each and every one of you! We are going to have so much fun this year learning, laughing, and having fun! But for now, let me tell you a little bit about me!

I am entering into my 12th year of teaching and my 11th year here at Cougar Run! I couldn't be more excited as this truly is a great place to work and learn! I began my teaching career as a long term sub in 3rd and 2nd grade! Since then, I taught 3rd grade for 2 years  and am now in 4th grade for my ninth year. 

Here are a few fun facts about me:

                ~ I have been married to my best friend  for 8 years as of June!

  ~ We are proud parents to our two energetic, loving, and funny boys;  Colton, who turned five in May and will be entering Kindergarten here at CRUN in August and Jaxson who is 16 months!

                ~ I was born in CO but got transplanted to Florida for 10 years, I moved back to CO in 2014 after college.

                ~ I went to college at Florida Atlantic University in South Florida (Go OWLS!)

                ~ I LOVE Disney World & anything Disney! (As you'll see in our classroom!)

                ~ I love frozen yogurt and  ice cream (Dairy Queen Chocolate cookie dough blizzards are my favorite)!

 ~ I love watching baseball and football with my boys and husband.  GO Broncos! GO Buffs! GO Rockies! GO Diamondbacks!

                ~ My favorite animal is a giraffe.

                ~ My favorite color is mint.

                 ~ My favorite things to do when I am not teaching are:

                         Watching TV (Friends, food competition shows, home renovation shows and more) baseball, football & movies, playing board or card games, building lego sets, crafting DIY projects, traveling, and hanging out with my many family members whenever I can!
