Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! I’m so excited to begin this new school year with you. My name is Katie Archer, and I’m so excited to be your child’s second grade teacher!
A little about me: I’m a proud Colorado native and a mom to two boys who will be in fourth and fifth grade this year. This is my 13th year teaching and my 6th year at Timber Trail. I’ve taught first, second, and third grade, as well as reading and math intervention. I also hold dual master’s degrees in Special Education and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Education.
I truly love teaching and feel so lucky to have the opportunity to work with your child this year. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, supported, and excited to learn. I will work hard to get to know your child as an individual, celebrate their strengths, support their growth, and make sure they know they are cared for each day. I’m looking forward to watching them learn, grow, and make wonderful memories throughout the year!
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, cooking, crafting, exploring Colorado, and spending time with my family and friends.
