Meet Ms. Archer

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I’m so excited to begin this new school year with you. My name is Katie Archer, and I’m thrilled to be your child’s second grade teacher! A little about me: I’m a proud Colorado native and a mom to two boys who will be in third and fourth grade this year. This is my 12th year teaching and my 5th year at Timber Trail. I’ve taught first, second, and third grade, as well as reading and math intervention. I also hold dual master’s degrees in Special Education and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Education. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, cooking, crafting, exploring Colorado, and spending time with my family and friends. I love teaching and feel so lucky to get to work with your child this year!
