I moved to Colorado in 2024 and began my teaching journey at Heritage Elementary that same year. I am excited to continue teaching music at Mountain Peak and look forward to sharing my passion for music with students while helping them grow as musicians.

Before moving, I grew up in Lawrence, Kansas. In 2024, I earned my Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from Emporia State University. Prior to that, I completed my Bachelor of Music in Music Education at Emporia State in 2022. During my time at ESU, I served as Drum Major of the marching band and had the opportunity to perform in a wide variety of ensembles, including marching band, pep band, jazz ensemble, wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, choir, trumpet ensemble, and brass quintets.

My musical journey began with piano lessons in third grade before I started playing the trumpet in sixth grade. Outside of music, I spent several summers working as a facilitator at summer camps, where I operated ropes courses and zip lines. I enjoy traveling, hiking, rock climbing, drawing, embroidery, and arranging music.
