About Me

Hello everyone!

My name is Julia Taylor and I am really glad you found my site! I am extremely passionate about my career and the children I work with as well as my school district. This site is where I share my thoughts, ideas, strategies, and resources so that parents/teachers/staff/etc. can access them in one location. I am an OT in the Douglas County School District in Colorado and I love where I work!

A little about me: I grew up in the Chicagoland area and moved to Colorado for college. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2013 with my undergrad degree in health and exercise science and in 2015 with my OT Master's degree. Colorado is now home and I won't be leaving anytime soon. In my free time I enjoy snowboarding, working out, hiking, reading, playing with my cats and dog and of course trying out all that Colorado has to offer. As a mom and an OT I often find myself in a battle between encouraging my child to develop faster and just letting him grow up at his pace.
