CLASS OVERVIEW
The DCSD Transition Program provides both classroom instruction on specific skills needed to achieve independence and in the community where those skills are applied on community outings, grocery shopping, working job sites, etc.
In the classroom, skills are taught based upon individual needs, in addition to the following:
Daily Living Skills
Financial Literacy Skills
Self-Determination Skills
Employment/Vocational Skills
Social Emotional Skills
Social Language Skills
Recreation and Leisure Skills

ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Jillian Toth. I am a third-year teacher at the Bridge Program. I live in Denver, CO and I recently moved from Panama City Beach, Florida. I enjoy hiking, traveling, yoga, cooking, and anything outdoors. I will be your student’s transition teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. I am looking forward to meeting you and your student and I am optimistic towards this upcoming school year!
MY EDUCATION
In May 2019, I graduated with my Bachelor in Science in Special Education Teaching from Florida State University. I continued my education by receiving my Masters in Science in Curriculum and Instruction in May 2020. I absolutely love transition and helping young adults meet their greatest potential with the supports they need!
