FLOWERS AND GRAD GIFTS AVAILABLE FOR FAMILIES TO PURCHASE
Highlands Ranch High School is partnering with The Commencement Group again this year. This organization will take pre-orders for flower bouquets and other Graduation themed items for your graduate(s). You are able to pick the type and color of the bouquet and your selection will be available at Red Rocks on graduation morning. The Commencement Group will share a portion of the sales proceeds with HRHS following Graduation. Please use this link to view what is offered! LOCATION / DIRECTIONS / TIME / PARKING (see Red Rocks map link at bottom of this page.)
Graduation will be held at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 21, 2025, at 9:00 AM. General seating for family members/guests is located above the graduate and faculty section. There is NO limit to the number of guests seated in the General seating and NO tickets are required for the General seating area.
Tickets are required for Special Needs Seating. The Link to request tickets will go live on April 12, 2024.
The City of Denver charges $15.00 per car to park at Red Rocks. Please be prepared to pay with a CREDIT CARD or Prepay ONLY. (Credit Card is the preferred form of payment.)
Parking Pass: Delivered on your AXS or Red Rocks App. One parking ticket needed per vehicle:
$12.50 in advance via AXS
$15 onsite, Graduation Day – credit card only
Parking is sold per day not per graduation (please use/share link below with friends and family)
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an outdoor venue with bench seating and many stairs. The ceremony should last approximately 2 hours. The Class of 2024 will be transported as a group to Red Rocks on buses.
All graduates are required to ride the buses to Red Rocks. Graduates should plan to ride home with their families.
Be in the auditorium no later than 7:15 AM Seniors report to Highlands Ranch High School auditorium for inspection
7:30 -7:45 AM - START LOADING ONTO THE CHARTER BUSES (be prompt - the buses won't wait)
7:45 AM - Buses depart for Red Rocks - graduates are REQUIRED to ride the buses to Red Rocks; graduates must make plans to ride home from Red Rocks with family members or friends
9:00 AM - Graduation Ceremony at Red Rocks Amphitheatre - the ceremony will last approximately 2 hours
GRADUATE ATTIRE
Please refer to the principal’s letter for graduate attire. Any graduate found to be inappropriately dressed will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
GRADUATE & GUEST BEHAVIOR
The graduation ceremony is a celebration for families and students. The ceremony will be a dignified event to remember for a lifetime. The Class of 2025 will be instructed on the correct behavior that is expected of them. Similarly, dignified behavior is expected of all guests and spectators. Excessive applause, cheering for a specific student (or other distractions), diminishes the experience for all students and families. Please be sensitive to this fact. Standing in the south aisle will not be permitted during the graduate procession or during ceremony. Spectators won’t be allowed up or down the aisle below row 15 during the awarding of the diplomas. Thank you.
FACILITIES AT RED ROCKS
The seats are wooden benches on concrete. Guests should bring something to sit on if concerned about their clothing. Please plan for a variety of weather conditions. Alcohol is not allowed during any school event.

“Whether grandma and grandpa live in Boulder, Philadelphia or Tokyo, they will now be able tune into their grandchild’s graduation.” The live-stream web address link will be available on this site and the live feed will be activated just prior to the beginning of the ceremony on Graduation Day.
WHEELCHAIR ASSISTANCE AT RED ROCKS
HRHS will provide 10 wheelchairs for families to shuttle their special needs guest from the shuttle drop off into the Amphitheatre. HRHS will have student volunteers assisting with the wheelchairs. Families of special needs guests who require a wheelchair during the entire ceremony must provide their own wheelchair.
SPECIAL NEEDS SEATING
There is limited reserved seating for special needs guests in the first few rows (in front of the graduates). Tickets are required for special needs guests (see information below). Please complete the Special Needs Ticket request to procure tickets. General seating tickets and Special needs tickets (4) will be distributed to seniors with their cap and gown following graduation practice.
**Attending any type of function at Red Rocks can be strenuous, so please keep this in mind when making your plans. Please remember the live streaming option mentioned above!
GRADUATION PHOTOS

IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER
We are expecting beautiful weather for May 21, 2025. In the rare event that the weather becomes inclement, please dress accordingly.
Highlands Ranch High School is required to prepare a Contingency Plan in the case of extreme weather conditions.
