HRHS Concurrent Enrollment
What is Concurrent Enrollment (CE)?
Concurrent Enrollment is an opportunity that allows students to earn both high school and College Credit for taking courses in high school. Most of these courses are through Arapahoe Community College. This is an awesome opportunity to experience college level work while still in high school and potentially have less classes to take when you enter into college after high school. Most of these courses are in partnership with community colleges, taught at your home high school, others are taken on the community college campus. Tuition for these courses is paid by the school district as long as you get a C or higher.
What is Dual Enrollment (DE)?
Dual Enrollment classes are college classes taken while in high school. At HRHS, these courses are taught at the high school by a college-approved teacher. Students earn high school credit and have the option to pay to earn college credit for the course.
