Mrs. Tracey

 Welcome!  About Me:

My name is Mrs. Michael Tracey (formerly Ms. Houghton), and I am one of the fifth-grade teachers! This is my 15th year in education and my eleventh year teaching fifth grade. I love Iron Horse Elementary! 

I have lived in Parker for twenty-four years, but I am originally from Arkansas. I have twin daughters who are 24. I have a golden retriever named Winston and love spending time with my friends and family as much as possible. I love to travel and am also a travel agent on the side! I recently got married!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Reading. However, I love teaching fifth-grade math, and I am so excited to begin this school year with a departmentalized model and be able to focus solely on one content area that I am passionate about - MATH!

We are confident that this transition to a departmentalized model will create a positive and successful experience for all our 5th-grade students and provide them with a strong foundation for future academic success.
