DAY IN THE LIFE

A Typical Day on Watch DOG Patrol at Heritage:

PLEASE NOTE, THE BELOW SCHEDULE IS FLEXIBLE AND MAY CHANGE BASED ON NEEDS OF SCHOOL DURING YOUR TIME VOLUNTEERING. 

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO VOLUNTEER THE ENTIRE DAY. PLEASE JUST LET US KNOW YOUR AVAILABILITY WHEN SIGNING UP ON THE SIGN UP GENIUS. THANK YOU!

Arrive 8:15am

Check-in at the office- Scan License, Receive WatchDOG T-shirt, take a photo with your students for our WatchDOG Wall of Fame, and complete a daily orientation sheet.

8:25-8:35

Assist with students' arrival in the carloop.

8:35-9:00

Check in with the Front Office to assist with clerical, administrative tasks.

9:00-9:15

Cafeteria- Assist building engineer with lunch room set up.

9:15-Lunch

Volunteer in student’s classroom- you can check in with students’ teachers if you have more than one student

Lunch & Recess

Check Grade Level Schedules for Lunch and Recess (below)

Recess- 3:20

Volunteer in student’s classroom- you can check in with students’ teachers if you have more than one student

3:25-3:40

Assist with Carloop and student dismissal

3:40pm

**Check out at front office and don’t forget to drop off shirt and badge.**
