I am excited to announce that we are beginning our nonfiction research projects this week! Each student will be assigned an animal to research and write about over the next month.

Be sure to ask your child what animal they are researching

and some facts they have learned about that animal throughout this process!

We will be creating an “About the Author” page and I ask that you send in one, recent picture of your child. The picture will not be returned as it will be laminated and

made a part of your child’s published book.

relating to your animal.
