Welcome to Mr. Ellis's Pe/Health Class

Hello Grey students,

Welcome to Mr. Ellis's Integrated Health Website! Due to Grey team being a split pod with 7th and 8th grade, I will be your PE and Health teacher for the whole 22-23 school year and am very excited! We are going to have a lot of fun this year experiencing different types of sports and activities!

LET'S GO WOLVES!

About Mr. Ellis:

Hello! My name is Mr. Ellis and this will be my 3rd year teaching PE/Health at the middle school level. I was born in Norman, Oklahoma but moved to Colorado when I was 3 years old so I consider myself a native! I grew up in Littleton where I attended Jeffco Public Schools k-12. I completed my undergraduate degree in k-12 physical education at the University of Northern Colorado and am currently attending Grand Canyon University to get my masters in educational leadership. This will be my first year teaching at Ranch View Middle School and I am super Excited!

My goal as a PE/Health teacher is to help students build a lifelong love and passion for physical activity by introducing a variety of different sports and health topics. In doing so, I am hoping to develop physically literate individuals who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity. I will take care of my students as people first and provide them with a safe and enjoyable environment where they feel they belong.

Outside of school, I enjoy being physically active by riding my dirt bike at local tracks, playing golf, snowboarding, playing pickle-ball, or taking my German Shepard NIKE to the dog park! I have coached varsity baseball where we won back to back state championships, Varsity football, and middle school girls/boys basketball. During summers I work for the Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche, and the Nuggets. I played football, baseball, and basketball throughout high school career and focused on baseball in college.

If you have any questions throughout the year feel free to contact me!
