Welcome!
Welcome to my Google Sites page! I am so glad you are here and taking the time to learn more about our class and the person teaching it. My name is Tiffany Gordon, and the 2026–2027 school year marks my 16th year in education. Working with students and helping them succeed—both inside and outside of the classroom—is truly my passion.
My Education
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences, with an emphasis in Psychology, from Metropolitan State University in 2011. I also earned endorsements in Elementary Education (K–6) and Linguistically Diverse Education (K–12).
In 2018, I completed my Master's Degree in Special Education at Regis University. Most recently, in 2026, I earned my Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) Degree in Reading along with my Dyslexia Certification.
I have always considered myself a lifelong learner. I love expanding my own knowledge, and I hope to inspire my students to develop that same love of learning.
WIDA Fellow
One of the greatest honors of my career was being selected as a national WIDA Fellow. I was nominated by my district and colleagues for my work as an English Language Development (ELD) teacher and was honored to be selected as one of only 12 educators nationwide. I was also invited to continue serving as a WIDA Fellow during the 2020–2021 school year.
While this recognition is very meaningful to me, it also represents something much larger—the incredible relationships I have built with students and the collaboration I have shared with so many amazing colleagues throughout my career.
A Little About Me
My students quickly discover that I am a huge Harry Potter fan! The Harry Potter series helped me discover my love of reading and taught me that imagination is only the beginning of what is possible.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my wonderful family and my sweet Labradoodle, Oliver, who is full of energy and love. I also adore my parents' rescue dog, Terry. He is quite the rascal, and he and Oliver spend hours playing together.
When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me:
📚 Reading
🍞 Baking sourdough
🧁 Cooking and trying new recipes
✈️ Traveling
🐾 Supporting animal rescue
🧩 Building LEGO sets
🎨 Crafting with my Cricut
🏎️ Participating in Autocross
❤️ Spending time with family
I believe deeply in making a positive difference in the world and never stop looking for opportunities to learn and grow.
Thank you for visiting my website. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
