Student Council Elections have been a great success so far! Students were elected as classroom representatives by their classmates. Our president, vice president, and secretary were elected by 4th and 5th grade students. Congratulations to all Student Council members! 

We focused on recycling and identified several issues we're noticing in regards to recycling. To raise awareness, we developed announcements that highlight what can and cannot be recycled.

To make it even more engaging, we created a fun song to get everyone excited about recycling! We're hoping this will encourage more students to recycle the correct items.

Let's keep the momentum going and spread the word! 🌍♻️

We are helping promote the DCSD Toiletry Drive. We are collecting items such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and yes, even toilet paper! Please bring items to the library by Friday, Nov. 8th. The school with the most donations will receive $1,000 for library books.

The Student Council Elves are coming to town! We created holiday appreciation cards featuring a funny joke and a tiny snowman for all staff members. The cards were then delivered to staff as a thoughtful gesture of appreciation. The staff felt so loved! 

Students did a great job promoting Wish Week. Gold Rush raised over $3,000 to support a student's wish to go to France. They helped students from Legend High School hang up over 600 Wish Week stars.
