Hello Fox Creek Community. My name is Cheryl Fullmer and I am honored to serve as the principal at Fox Creek Elementary. I have been an educator for over 30 years. I have been a teacher, an assistant principal, and a principal. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Colorado (go Bears), my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University and my principal license from the University of Phoenix.
I believe that schools should be a place of joyful, collaborative and productive noise. Where all people (kids, staff and community members) are celebrated for who they are and encouraged to be an active member of a rigorous environment that embraces curiosity, critical thinking, resilience and acceptance of one another. My core values center around the importance of building relationships, fostering leadership in staff and kids, hands on learning and preparing students for their future. All of this comes to life here at Fox Creek Elementary. It is a perfect match for who I am as an educator and the philosophy of EL (Expeditionary Learning).
I have twin daughters, Jenna and Alyssa, who are freshmen in college in California. They are attending different schools to pursue their passions and play softball. I go and visit them every chance I get and I am getting better and better and facetime. I have a cat, Morris and a Goldendoodle, Kahuna at home now and they keep me busy along with caring for my mom, Dee. I enjoy reading, volunteering at my church, hanging with friends and traveling.
I am thrilled that you have decided to join our Fox Creek community. Welcome to our crew. Please stop by the front office and introduce yourself so I may get to know you better. If I can do anything to help you or your child please let me know.
