Melissa Salazar, M.S. CCC-SLP

She has been working with children and adolescents for over twenty-five years. She earned her BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences from UNM and her MS in Communicative Disorders from ENMU.  She works full-time as a Speech Language Pathologist for Douglas County Schools and has been the SLP at Fox Creek Elementary since 2003. She strives to have an impact on students by helping them gain self-confidence by finding their voice and encouraging them to seek out challenges that will help them grow.  In her room, you will see students of all ages engaged in a variety of activities to support their learning and trying their best. When she is not working she loves being with her daughter, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
