READ: 20-30 minutes each night (read with and to your child)
MATH FACTS: 5 minutes each night (0-10, then 0-20)
CONVERSATIONS- A great way for kids to learn problem solving
skills. What’s one thing you learned today? What was a highlight
of your day? What about a lowlight? How did you use your habits of character today?
PLAY: take time everyday to allow kids to play with family or with
their friends OUTSIDE! Limiting screen time especially before bed is helpful!
SLEEP: according to the National Sleep Foundation, a 7-8 year old needs 9-11 hours of sleep each night.
OTHER: emails will be sent communicating other homework when applicable
