I have called the Denver metro area home since 1984, although I originally grew up in North Dakota. Over the years, Colorado has truly captured my heart, and I can’t imagine a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
When I’m not at school, you can usually find me enjoying Colorado’s great outdoors. I love golfing, playing pickleball, hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, gardening, and traveling with my family. I also enjoy shopping, watching HGTV, staying active, and curling up with a good book whenever I can. More recently, I’ve become a big fan of our new hometown women’s soccer team, Summit FC, and I love supporting this exciting addition to our community.
I am the proud mom of two amazing adult children. My daughter, Madison, graduated from the United States Naval Academy and is currently serving as a LTJG stationed in San Diego—Go Navy, Beat Army! My son, Ben, is a proud CU Boulder graduate with a degree in Computer Science and now works in the energy monitoring and EV charging industry—Sko Buffs! They are just two years apart and continue to keep life exciting with all of their adventures. We are also looking forward to welcoming Madison’s fiancé, Conrad, into our family as they prepare for their upcoming wedding.
Our family also includes Raegan, our 13-year-old Wheaten Terrier, who is full of personality and always ready for a cuddle, as well as Leo, our Russian tortoise. My husband is a Colorado native, and together we are passionate Broncos fans who love cheering on our home team.
As I join this new school community, I recognize the unique and exciting journey that has brought us together. The creation of a brand-new school through the merging of two school communities is a special opportunity to build new traditions, foster meaningful connections, and create something truly exceptional for students and families. I am honored to be a part of this inaugural chapter and look forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff who will help shape the future of our school.
