I am looking forward to a fun and purposeful learning experience this school year. I plan on using google classroom as the best way to get information for any homework or if absent and we will discuss that information the first week of school. This is more then a classroom, this is a classhome where everyone is welcomed and will be cared for.

Hi, my name is Melissa Mottinger and I am your FACS teacher here at Ranch View Middle school I have been married 15 years, and we have 3 amazing kids- a 9th Grader at Thunderridge, 8th grader at Ranch View and a 5th grader at Saddle Ranch.

I started teaching in 1996 in Fairfax, VA in the very awesome 3 grade classroom. I taught in VA for 6 years before moving to Boulder, Colorado! I taught in Boulder for 6 more years before staying home with my kids and subbing in DCSD.

I love to bake, cook and watch my kids do all their sports! I'm so excited to teach at Ranch View this year!
