Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where can I find Clever?
A: On a district Chromebook, you will be automatically pushed to the Clever site when you login. It is also located in the ERE Bookmarks folder at the top left of your Bookmarks Bar. If on a personal device, simply go to student.dcsdk12.org to find your Dashboard.
Q: How do I know what my username is for all of these applications?
For District applications, like Google Apps (including Gmail and Google Classroom) and Clever, you will use our district standard of lastname, middle initial, last initial@s.dcsdk12.org
Q: Where can I find specific apps on my student's iPad?
A: If you swipe down from the top of the screen gently, a search bar should appear that allows you to type in the name of the app you are looking for and click right into it.
Q: Can I print from my student's Chromebook?
A: YES! Use this link to show you how! (You can also connect your printer directly if you have a USB cable for your printer)
Q: There are so many websites to remember! Where can I find them all?
All ERE Chromebooks have a folder of our most-commonly used websites called "ERE Bookmarks". This includes Clever, Seesaw, Epic, Reflex Math, Keyboarding Without Tears and more!
Q: How should I disinfect my technology?
A: Electronics Sanitizing Guidance - Please Do Not Use Hydrogen Peroxide Wipes such as Clorox Healthcare or Oxivir TB wipes.
For Screens: Disinfecting wipe (Clorox, Lysol, etc.) or70% Alcohol solution(at least 70%) sprayed on a lint-free cloth
For Outer Covers and Keyboards: Disinfecting wipe (Clorox, Lysol, etc.), 70% Alcohol solution(at least 70%) sprayed on a lint-free cloth, Buckeye E23 solution sprayed on a lint-free cloth
