Meet Your Teacher

Welcome to our class!

Hi! My name is Ellie Erickson and I am so excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher this year! Teaching is truly my passion, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be joining the CRUN family.

This year will be filled with curiosity, collaboration, and lots of learning! In 4th grade, we dive deeper into reading and writing, explore big ideas in math, investigate Colorado history, and think like scientists. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and inspired to grow.

This year marks my 10th year teaching! I spent the past nine years teaching  4-6 grade and technology in Jefferson County, and I am beyond excited to return to 4th grade- my favorite! 

A little about me:

• I am married to my high school sweetheart.

• We have a son, Brooks, who will turn one in September, and a sweet Chocolate English Lab named Millie, who turns eight in August . 

• I was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado

Some of my favorite things include:

• Spending quality time with family and friends

• Being outdoors- whether I'm running, hiking, or just enjoying nature

• Mexican food (my go-to!)

• Cheering on the CU Buffs and Colorado sports teams

• Traveling and exploring new places

• Ice cream- always!
