Hi! I’m Elizabeth Ellis, and I’m the school-based occupational therapist at Heritage Elementary and two other schools in the district. Students call me Ms. Elizabeth. I earned my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University in 2023, and my Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2021 from CSU as well! I feel so grateful to be working in a field where I get to support students in building the skills they need to succeed at school and beyond. I focus on things like fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, and how kids can best access learning through play and movement.
I received OT services myself as a child, and I’ve always known I wanted to help others reach their goals and potential. My favorite part of this job is working with the students—they’re always so funny, creative, and sweet! I work with students in all kinds of settings, depending on their needs, and I believe strong communication and collaboration with families and teachers is key. Please don’t hesitate to reach out via email—I'm always happy to connect. Outside of school, I love to read, garden, cook, and spend time outdoors with my husband and our one-year-old. I truly love working with your kids!
