Douglas County School District is the third largest district in Colorado, serving more than 63,000 across 90 schools. 

Our school opened in 2006 and is one of two public comprehensive high schools in the town of Castle Rock.

Our building has maintained fairly stable enrollment, contrary to district projections of attrition. We currently have 1,942 students enrolled at CVHS.

Our faculty is small by mighty, consisting of 112 educators. Of those teachers, 64% hold advanced degrees.
