About me
I am a Colorado native who loves to camp and hike. I live in Franktown with my husband, dog, and chickens. My favorite place to camp is the Great Sand Dunes. I've traveled in Africa, China, Hong Kong, England and love learning about new cultures. I also enjoy reading, coffee, and watching Law and Order.
I was a teacher for 22 years before becoming a school counselor. I earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and worked as an environmental planner in the aviation industry before changing careers. I earned a master's in math and science curriculum and instruction and taught mostly middle school math and/or science. I retired in 2018 but returned to graduate school and earned another master's degree in school counseling. I've been a school counselor for three years.
