My name is Rhonda Carr. I have been teaching in the moderate needs program at Cougar Run since the 2004/2005 school year. This is a great place to work and I truly enjoy working with my students. Over the years, I have been trained in multi-sensory programs to help students who require a non-traditional approaches to become better readers and writers. I have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, the Wilson Reading System, UFLI, and components of the Language! program. I love working with smaller groups and being able to really dive into areas that will help strengthen their skills in reading, writing, and math.
My husband and I have a son who just graduated high school and a dog who is a black lab mix. I love going for long walks, spending time with my family and friends, camping, road trips, paddle boarding and working in my yard.
