Library Policies

Hours:

7:05-2:55 PM (daily)

The Learning Commons is open every day at 7:05 AM. Ms. Leu will be here, and you are more than welcome to come in a check-out a book, play games, or hang-out with your friends. The LMC closes @ 3:00 daily.

Checkouts:

Each student may checkout 5 books (from the physical library collection). You may access more digital books and resources through the district Clever resources.

Expectations:

All users of the library should follow the library rules to be safe, be respectful, & be responsible. The CMS Learning Commons is a collaborative community space that is intended for all students, staff, parents, and community of CMS. Please be respectful of others and leave the LMC space clean and ready for the next user.

Searching for your favorite quick read at Cresthill is super easy with our genrified collection. This simply means fiction books are sorted by their dominant genre when they enter our library. Look at the images to see where to find your favorite book at CMS.

Staff

Meet Ms. Leu

My name is Erica Leu, and I am excited to be at Cresthill after 18 years in education. I have taught 4th-8th grade and been a teacher librarian in Austin, TX for the past decade. I am excited to be back in Colorado where I was born. I am looking forward to new adventures and spending time with my family. Outside of school I love animals, science fiction, learning history and foreign language, exercising, and crafting.
