Dana Pease is the pianist for the Vocal Music Department and Musical Theatre productions at DCHS and has worked for Douglas County School District since 2005. She spent 6 years each at Frontier Valley Elementary and Cimarron Middle School, and then moved to DCHS for the 2016-17 school year and is thrilled to be part of the Huskie Family. Dana began accompanying choirs when she was a student in middle school, so we’ll just say she’s been doing this a long time. She has also played for semi-professional choirs and many high school and community theatre groups over the years.
She was a piano performance major at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee. Dana recently retired after 18 years as the Director of Music for Providence Presbyterian Church in Parker and a 35 year career as a church pianist. She lives in Castle Rock with her husband Kurt and has two daughters in college.
