Tuition and Enrollment

Tuition for the 24-25 school year

Half Day AM w/ Lunch (for students currently receiving IEP services w/ DCSD Preschool): $44 (M-TH)

Full day: $56 per day

Tuition is due by Wednesday at midnight for the upcoming week of school. If you miss this deadline, there are additional daily late attendance fees added to tuition rates.

Program Attendance Options

Full Day Pre-Kindergarten (lunch included with tuition)

Your child must attend a minimum of 4 full days per week

Voucher credits

All families can access 4 vouchers per school year to use for vacations, or illness that the 4 day minimum is not met. These vouchers will be available to print off from the SchoolCareWorks website. One Voucher equals one day. If vouchers are not used before the end of the school, they can not be turned in for a cash refund. Vouchers must be turned in to the Program Manager within the month of the absence.

Enrollment

Prior to registering your child for our program, families are required to take a tour before the enrollment process can begin.

Spots in our program are offered on a first come, first served basis. For the current school year: Should we be full, after a family has toured the program, they will be added to our Interest list.

For the upcoming school year: After you have toured, you will be added to our email list and will be notified when enrollment opens for the next school year.

If you are offered a spot in our program, there is a $100 non-refundable registration fee due when you create your parent portal account.

Required Documents must be submitted before your child starts school. These include:

Copy of Birth Certificate
Up-to-date Immunization Record
General Health Appraisal signed by Doctor's office

TUITION EXPRESS UPDATES

The DCSD B.A.S.E. Programs will be upgrading our credit card merchant system, and starting on Thursday, August 1st, 2024, we will begin using Tuition Express for processing payments. This upgrade is going to enhance our internal operations, and improve internal reporting for our programs. You will see no difference for payments that are processed through your bank account, and you will continue to receive direct notifications of successful payments, as well as notifications if a payment is returned or declined.

If you currently have a payment method stored in the AutoPay section of your SchoolCare Works Parent Portal account, the information is encrypted and will not be transferred to our new merchant system. If you prefer to have a payment method stored in your account, please note that you will need to re-enter it on or after August 1st. Please be aware that there will be a brief period of downtime on the morning of Thursday, August 1st, when you will not be able to schedule days or make payments in your SCW Parent Portal while our merchant system is being switched over. We expect any down time to be minimal, so if you attempt to sign up or make a payment and you are unsuccessful, please try again later in the afternoon.
