My name is Heather Campbell (soon to be Heather Locker), and

I am so excited to be part of the Cougar Run family. I’m so

excited to start this year and can’t wait to meet all the new

students and their families. First, I wanted to share a little bit

about myself before we start this new year off together.

I’m one of those rare “Colorado natives” and have lived most of

my life in Colorado Springs. I moved to Denver in January of

2020 and currently live in Parker with my fiancée Sean. We’re

getting married on September 26, 2024, and are super excited!

In my spare time I enjoy going to sporting events (GO

NUGGETS), reading, going to concerts and spending time with

family and friends. I love trying new restaurants and exploring

all the fun things Denver has to offer.

I attended Pikes Peak Community College where I majored in

Art History and Humanities. I even studied abroad in Paris for 4

months. However, I soon discovered that teaching was my

passion and completely changed my major. I have been teaching

for over 15 years now and love every second of it. My favorite

part about teaching preschool is their sense of humor, their

willingness to learn, their silly stories and of course, their quirky personalities.
