    • Pandemic Journaling--your son/daughter is now the reporter for how their life has changed. Visit for great writing ideas.

    • Four Writing Types for Middle Schoolers--here are the four types of writing middle school-aged kids should be able to do. Use this as a guide to decide what your son/daughter could write about.

    • Khan Academy--Pick the grade level and/or topic you'd like your son/daughter to get extra practice in.

  • Extra Learning!

    • Scholastic 'Learn at Home'--This is a great tool that divides learning up by day. Each week, there will be new daily activities, articles, and educational videos uploaded by Scholastic. Kids work through the activities presented.

    • Mindful Schools--Use this link to teach Mindfulness to kids. During this unsure time, teach kids to be aware of their feelings, stressors, and learn strategies to help calm anxiety and worry.

    • Free Virual Museums--Museums all over the world have teamed up to provide kids with free virtual access to their exhibits. Go take a tour of a museum in another country!

    • Educational Netflix--Use this to give kids access to educational programming on Netflix by age group.

    • Audible Stories--Social distancing, meet kid's free listening. This is a free sight for selection of stories for all kids of all ages. Stories that help young minds stay active, open, and engaged. All free, no sign-up, no commitments. Just explore and start listening.
