Important Information:

• Practices are held Monday – Thursday from 3:20-4:45pm, and Friday 3:20-4:15 unless notified otherwise.  Students must have their own transportation available if they choose to participate in after school sports. 

• There will be no practices or competitions on non-school days (i.e. holidays, professional development days, snow days).

• For “away” competitions, there will be NO Buses.  Parents will need to sign out with the coach at the away competition site only.

• Your coach will use the Remind.com application to send text updates  to parents,  students, grandparents (anyone who signs up) about practice, games, and any changes. Please subscribe for updates via remind.com

• *Eligibility:  We work to support the success of the student-athlete. Academics always come first. Students with a “U” in Work Habits will be ineligible for one contest in the next week's game if the grade has not been brought up.

Welcome to CiMS Girls Basketball!  We are very excited to work with your athlete. We will focus on skills, sportsmanship, communication, teamwork, and having fun.

We will utilize station drills to evaluate player’s skill set in order to place student-athletes on A, B, and C Teams. Evaluations will take place the first week of the season.  Once teams are established, players will be expected to communicate to their parents what team they are made and their coach. We ask that players contact their specific coach if they have general questions. 

On the first day of practice, athletes will report to the gym with workout clothes, a good pair of basketball shoes, a water bottle and a willingness to work hard, listen to coaches, and be a good teammate. Coaches will handout jerseys on dates given above.  It is your student's responsibility to take care of, and wash their uniform throughout the season.
