A: The explore stage is designed to help the DCSD community know and understand the shifts and the various components before we make changes to our teaching and learning practice in the classroom. The 2018-2019 school year is the time to explore the 2020 standards.

The Colorado Academic Standards are designed to be viewed holistically.
That is, all components are important to the success of student learning in regards to the standard.
Another way to look at it is the whole page is the standard and not one component (GLE, Evidence Outcome, ETC.).
