I am so excited to be at MRMS and to see you every day! On most days, I will be at school by 6:45 and plan to stay after school until 3:30. If you need to come in for assistance or support, please check with me in advance in the event that I am coaching, attending a meeting, or experiencing a schedule change. Typically, I will be around and available to support you in being successful in Integrated Wellness.

This is the start of my 30th year in education, and I am proud to say I am an original Ram and opened Mountain Ridge in 2001. I love working with middle schoolers and I am passionate about what they have to offer in the classroom, MRMS, and the community. I am VERY excited to start the school year, and am looking forward to doing some amazing work with staff and students. In addition to teaching, I am actively involved with Mountain Ridge students and staff.

I am married and have two children; my daughter attends the University of Utah in Salt Lake City and my son plays baseball at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona. I am passionate about my family & friends, hiking, and my son's baseball teams. I enjoy photography, baking, and traveling - number one on my bucket list is to travel to all 50 states. I have lived in Colorado my entire life and absolutely love being outside and taking advantage of the more than 300 days of sunshine. I feel fortunate every day that I get to work with middle school students and feel truly blessed to have my job.

I am excited and am looking forward to an outstanding year!
