This is now my eighth year teaching in Douglas County and my fourth at Mammoth Heights Elementary. I grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado and relocated to Grantham, Pennsylvania to earn my Bachelors of Arts in Music from Messiah College. Upon graduation, I went on to complete four years as a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps. It was during this time that I realized my passion for teaching and fostering curiosity in young learners. I then completed the Boettcher Teacher Residency through the Public Education and Business Coalition and earned my Masters Degree in Education from Adams State University. Last year, I was fortunate to complete my Doctorate in Education from Liberty University. My wife Courtney, daughters Adeline and Evelyn, and I currently live in Parker. We enjoy biking, hiking, snowboarding, and finding new and unusual restaurants. We also have a very special Australian Shepherd named Sawyer.
