Miss Hollingshead's Fifth Grade Classroom

I am incredibly excited to begin my journey at Mountain Peak Elementary School and to do the work I have dreamed of for so many years. I recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in English as a Second Language. I am passionate about creating a classroom where every student feels welcomed, supported, and inspired to learn.

I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful classroom, and I am committed to helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to foster a positive learning environment where students feel confident taking risks, asking questions, and celebrating their successes. I am excited to partner with families and support each child as they reach their full potential.

As a Colorado native, I attended Mountain Vista High School and am excited to return to the community that helped shape me. I now live in Highlands Ranch with my family and love spending time with my older brother, older sister, and our two dogs, Maverick and Roxy. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, trying new workout classes, cheering on the Colorado Avalanche, and playing pickleball.

Teaching has always been my dream, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Mountain Peak Elementary community. I cannot wait for a year filled with learning, growth, and meaningful connections.
