Hi! 

I’m so excited to be part of this community at MPE! I began my teaching career in Pennsylvania, where I spent three years teaching special education. In June 2025, I moved to Colorado and joined the Douglas County School District, as a 3rd grade classroom teacher!

My teaching approach is rooted in creating a structured classroom with clear expectations so all students feel supported and know what is expected of them. At the same time, I believe every student learns differently, so I work hard to accommodate individual needs and provide the support necessary for each child to be successful. I strive to build a classroom environment where students feel confident, capable, and motivated to grow both academically and personally.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying active by playing volleyball, hiking, skiing, and cooking. I also work part-time for a sports league company, which allows me to stay involved in athletics and connect with the community in a different way.
