Lunch and Snacks

Please plan on packing a lunch unless it is shown on the calendar as provided. Please pack a morning and afternoon snack also.  Summer is an active / busy time and your kids are hungry. Please make sure to pack additional snacks if you think your child will still be hungry. 

Sunscreen

Please apply sunscreen to your child prior to coming to the BASE program each day. We will provide a supply by the sign in/out table.

All BASE sunscreen will be SPF 50 + spray and lotion. You may send sunscreen in your child's bag if you prefer them to use a particular type.

Discuss with your child your (parent/ family) expectations for sunscreen use, hats, sunglasses, etc.

Your child will be required to apply and reapply sunscreen to their own face, arms and legs. BASE staff will help reapply sunscreen to the face (lotion) arms, neck and legs (spray) as needed. 

Flip Flops and other “summer” shoes

Flip Flops and other “summer” shoes are not the safest choice of shoe for the playground, running and walking.  If your child chooses to wear flip flops, please send an alternative pair of shoes for our many walking adventures.

Drop In

Drop Ins will be allowed if space is available, please inquire with Justin or Lisa prior to dropping off your child. Drop-In Fees will be applied.

Lost Or Missing Items

PLEASE label (First initial and LAST NAME) ALL items that your child brings to school (summer gear, personal items, water bottles, etc). BCE staff will collect items left onsite and store them in our lost and found baskets. Staff will remind students through the day to keep track of their belongings, but are not responsible for lost, forgotten or misplaced items on and off site.
