Ms. Peters

I am very excited for this school year! This will be my fifth year teaching middle school social studies and my second year at Sierra. I grew up in Douglas County and graduated from Mountain Vista. After high school, I moved out to New Jersey to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University.  While in college, I had the privilege of attending Wroxton College and living in England for a semester. It was there that I developed a love of history.  After college, I moved down to Florida where I worked for Walt Disney World at Animal Kingdom for a year before moving into hospitality. I went back to school for my Master of Arts in Teaching Social Sciences Education at University of Central Florida. Go Knights! I moved back to Colorado in 2019 in order to be closer to my family. I absolutely love traveling; Iceland and Scotland were my two favorite places I have visited.
