Amy rochford, OTD, Otr/L
Amy graduated from San Jose State University in 1995 with a degree in Occupational Therapy and has worked in a wide variety of settings for 26 years, including serving children at a regional burn unit and a Level 1 Trauma Center. For the last 18 years, Amy has specialized in pediatrics and sensory processing in hospitals, clinics, schools, and home care. Her energetic, positive disposition, desire to help each child achieve their potential and extensive knowledge and experience are woven together in an upbeat, engaging yet still challenging environment to support children in reaching their goals. She is currently working as an OT for the Douglas County School District in the greater Denver area, treating children from kindergarten through 5th grade.
Amy earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Chatham University. She loves adventure, the outdoors, and a good challenge. She enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, hiking, camping, boating, and skiing.
