A Little About Me:
I was born in Dallas and I spent the first 36 years of my life in Texas before moving to Colorado 14 years ago.
I attended the University of Texas in Austin where I received my B.S. in Applied Learning and Development. Later, I attended The University of St. Thomas in Houston where I worked on my Masters in Education.
This will be my 24th year teaching! I have taught first, third and sixth grade and I have also coordinated Gifted and Talented, Reading Recovery, English as a Second Language, and Response to Intervention programs. I have public and private school experience and I absolutely love Heritage Elementary!
I have been married to my best friend and soulmate for 26 years. Chad and I have two boys: Ethan (22) and Seth (20). Ethan works in Dallas in the oil and gas industry. Seth will be a sophomore at Texas Tech. He is pursuing a double major in Finance and Energy Commerce.
We have two adorable dachshunds named Betty Lou and Alice Pearl.
