Meet  Miss Sam

Hello Heritage Explorers! I am SO happy to be here in my third year at Heritage. I am excited to continue getting to know all the wonderful families that make up our community. 

I  am originally from Connecticut and relocated to Colorado in 2023. I am loving everything that this beautiful state has to offer. I received my bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut. I then went on to pursue work in the field of special education. With a huge passion for work in schools, I continued on to pursue a Masters degree in School Counseling at the University of Saint Joseph in Connecticut. I have a passion for working with children and helping each student reach their full potential. I am looking forward to working with all students in the areas of social/emotional and academic support here at Heritage Elementary! On weekends, you can find me spending time with family and doing anything in nature (running, hiking, camping) with my dog, Rio. I am excited to continue exploring this beautiful state.
