Welcome to 6th Grade PE/Health!

About Mr. Phegley

Hi there! My name is Tristan Phegley and I am one of the 6th Grade Wellness teachers here at Ranch View Middle School. I grew up in the Littleton area, and one of the things I value most is being able to spend quality time with my wife and my family. I recently got married to my wife, who is also a teacher, in January 2026 in Cancun, Mexico!

I graduated from Colorado State University in 2019 with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies. Then, after several years of working in education, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Secondary Teaching from the American College of Education, in which I graduated in December 2025. I received my first official PE/Health job in January 2026 at a school in Denver Public Schools, then I switched over to Ranch View in July 2026.

Also, I have coached football, basketball, and track & field at the high school level since 2019. However, in 2026, I decided to step away from the high school level for football, and am currently coaching 6th Grade Co-Ed Flag Football, 7th Grade Co-Ed Flag Football, and 6th Grade Girls Basketball here at Ranch View, along with Track & Field over at Heritage High School in Littleton.

In my free time, I love to work out, golf, watch sports (specifically the Minnesota Vikings, SKOL Vikes!), and spend time with my wife and my family. I'm so excited for this school year, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Go Wolves!
